This powerhouse Pokémon will make its grand appearance at black Tera Raid crystals twice: first from Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, and again from Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT.

Swampert, the Mud Fish Pokémon, is not typically found in the Paldea region. However, you can encounter Mudkip using Blueberry Points at Blueberry Academy’s Terarium. The Swampert you’ll face during this event has a Poison Tera Type and comes equipped with the Mightiest Mark, underscoring its formidable strength. Team up with friends to take down this powerful foe!
Special Bonus Event: Blissey Raids
During the second half of the Swampert event—from June 6, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to June 9, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT—Blissey will also appear more frequently in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. These Blissey will have various Tera Types, so strategize accordingly. Defeating Blissey will grant you valuable rewards, including Tera Shards and Exp. Candies.
How to Participate
To join the Tera Raid Battles and face off against Poison–Tera Type Swampert with the Mightiest Mark, make sure to download the latest Poké Portal News. Follow these steps:
- Select Poké Portal in the X menu.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Select Check Poké Portal News.
Note: To challenge Swampert in the 7-star Tera Raid Battles, trainers must have completed the postgame events following the main story or join a raid hosted by a trainer who has done so. Remember, this special Swampert can only be caught once per save data. However, you can continue to participate in the raids for additional rewards, such as Exp. Candies, treasures, and Poison Tera Shards.
