Swift’s appearance marked her second consecutive confirmed Chiefs home game of the 2026 NFL season. She had also attended Kansas City’s season opener against the Denver Broncos on September 14.
The latest appearance came after her attendance remained unconfirmed earlier on Sunday. Reports later confirmed that Swift was inside Arrowhead with her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift. She wore a Chiefs camisole and was seen cheering as Kelce scored a touchdown in the first quarter.
Her presence added another major celebrity moment to a prime-time NFL matchup. The Chiefs hosted the Colts for Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Taylor Swift was inside Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ September 20 game against Indianapolis.
The matchup was Kansas City’s second regular-season game of 2026. The Chiefs entered the night after defeating Denver 31-10 in their season opener.

For fans searching is Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game, the latest confirmed answer is yes for the September 20 matchup.
Swift Returned to Arrowhead Six Days Later
Swift’s appearance against Indianapolis came only six days after her previous Chiefs game.
On September 14, she attended Kansas City’s season opener against Denver. That game marked her first Chiefs appearance since her July 3 wedding to Travis Kelce.
Swift watched that matchup from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
Her appearance received extensive attention because it was her first Chiefs game as Kelce’s wife. She wore a red-and-white gingham dress and was seen with actor Tom Cruise during the game.
The Chiefs defeated the Broncos 31-10.
Swift then returned to Arrowhead for Week 2, giving her two confirmed appearances at the team’s first two home games of the season.
Swift Was Seen With Her Parents
Swift’s family joined her at the September 20 game.
People reported that Andrea and Scott Swift were with her in the Kelce family suite. Swift also wore a Chiefs camisole during the matchup.
The singer’s wedding ring was visible as she cheered for Kelce.
Her appearance gave fans another opportunity to see her supporting her husband during an NFL game.
The family setting also reflected the close connections between the Swift and Kelce families that have become familiar at Chiefs games.
Swift Celebrated Kelce’s Touchdown
One of the notable moments came during the first quarter.
Kelce scored a touchdown against the Colts, and Swift was seen celebrating from the suite.
Her reaction quickly became part of the game’s celebrity coverage. The moment also connected her appearance directly with Kelce’s performance on the field.
Swift has frequently attracted attention during Chiefs broadcasts because cameras sometimes show her reactions to Kelce’s plays.
That happened again during the September 20 matchup.
Her presence was therefore not limited to simply being inside Arrowhead. She was visibly following the action and supporting Kelce during the game.
Why Swift’s Attendance Was Uncertain Earlier
Swift generally does not publicly announce her NFL game plans in advance.
That made Sunday’s situation different from a scheduled public appearance.
Before kickoff, several reports were still treating her attendance as unconfirmed. USA TODAY’s pregame coverage specifically said there was no confirmation that Swift would attend the Colts matchup.
Swift had been in Kansas City during the weekend, which gave fans another reason to watch for her arrival.
However, being in the city did not automatically mean she would attend the game.
The confirmation came when she was seen inside Arrowhead.
This distinction is important when following celebrity appearances. Early reports can remain uncertain until the person actually arrives at the venue.
Swift Was in Kansas City Before the Game
Swift was already in Kansas City before Sunday’s matchup.
On September 18, she attended Patrick Mahomes’ 31st birthday celebration with Travis Kelce at 1587 Prime.
The restaurant is co-owned by Mahomes and Kelce.
Swift appeared at the celebration with Kelce and was photographed during the event. People reported that she wore a black strapless dress with red sunglasses for the celebration.
Her presence in Kansas City created additional interest ahead of the Colts game.
Still, the birthday celebration did not officially confirm her plans for Sunday night.
Her eventual appearance at Arrowhead provided the definitive update.
The Chiefs Played Indianapolis on Sunday Night Football
The Chiefs hosted the Colts on September 20 for Sunday Night Football.
The game took place at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
The Chiefs’ official game information listed the matchup for 7:20 p.m. Central Time, with NBC carrying the Sunday night broadcast.
Swift’s presence became one of the biggest off-field storylines surrounding the game.
Fans had already watched her attend the previous week’s season opener. Her return meant she had now appeared at both of Kansas City’s first two home games.
That made the September 20 appearance particularly notable for people following Swift and Kelce throughout the NFL season.
Swift’s First Chiefs Game of the 2026 Season
The September 14 game against Denver was Swift’s first Chiefs appearance of the new season.
It was also her first confirmed appearance at a Chiefs game since her wedding to Kelce.
Swift attended the game wearing a red-and-white gingham dress. The outfit drew attention because the colors matched the Chiefs’ red-and-white identity.
She also wore her wedding and engagement rings.
During the game, Swift sat in a suite with Tom Cruise and other guests. Her reactions appeared several times during the broadcast.
The Chiefs won that matchup 31-10.
Swift’s return for the Colts game continued the same pattern of supporting Kelce from Arrowhead.
Swift and Kelce Are Now Married
Swift and Kelce married on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
That made the 2026 Chiefs season the first NFL season in which Swift has attended Kelce’s games as his wife.
Her appearance at the season opener therefore received particular attention.
The second appearance against Indianapolis added another public moment for the couple during the early weeks of the season.
Swift’s presence at Arrowhead has been closely followed since her relationship with Kelce became public in 2023.
The September 20 game continued that connection into another NFL season.
What Swift Wore to the Chiefs-Colts Game
Swift chose a Chiefs-themed look for the September 20 matchup.
People reported that she wore a Chiefs camisole while sitting in the Kelce family suite. Her wedding ring was also visible during the game.
Her choice differed from the red-and-white gingham dress she wore six days earlier.
The September 14 outfit became one of the most discussed parts of the season opener. For the Colts game, Swift opted for a simpler Chiefs-focused look.
Her game-day clothing has become a regular subject of coverage whenever she attends a Chiefs matchup.
Swift’s Connection to Chiefs Games
Swift first began attending Chiefs games after her relationship with Kelce became public in 2023.
Since then, her appearances have attracted attention from both NFL fans and entertainment audiences.
Her presence often becomes part of the television broadcast when cameras show the Kelce family suite.
That attention continued during the 2026 season.
Swift attended the Denver game and then returned for the Indianapolis matchup.
Both appearances took place at Arrowhead Stadium.
Her latest attendance also came during a prime-time game, which gave the appearance additional national visibility.
Travis Kelce Played in the Game
Kelce entered the Colts matchup during his 14th NFL season with Kansas City.
He had already made a strong start to the season against Denver.
In the Week 1 win, Kelce recorded three receptions for 71 yards. His longest reception covered 59 yards.
Swift attended that game and celebrated several of his plays.
Against Indianapolis, Kelce again found the end zone during the first quarter.
Swift was seen celebrating the touchdown from the family suite.
The moment gave viewers another clear connection between Swift’s presence in the stands and her support for Kelce during the game.
Taylor Swift’s First Two Chiefs Games of 2026

|---|---|---|---|
| September 14, 2026 | Denver Broncos | Arrowhead Stadium | Confirmed |
| September 20, 2026 | Indianapolis Colts | Arrowhead Stadium | Confirmed |
The two appearances came during Kansas City’s opening two home games.
Both games also took place in prime-time national television windows.
Her return for Week 2 confirmed that the September 14 appearance was not her only early-season visit to Arrowhead.
Why the Latest Update Matters
The biggest question before the Colts game was whether Swift would return to Arrowhead.
Her presence had not been confirmed during earlier Sunday coverage.
Once she appeared inside the stadium, reports confirmed that she was attending the matchup.
The update matters because Swift’s game attendance is not normally announced days in advance.
Fans often learn about her attendance only after she arrives.
That makes reliable game-day confirmation more useful than social-media predictions or unverified posts.
In this case, reports from inside Arrowhead established that Swift was there.
