D23 Tickets Price: What Fans Are Paying to Attend the 2026 Disney Fan Event

D23 tickets price ranges from $49 to $2,599 as the three-day Ultimate Disney Fan Event wraps up its run in Anaheim, California, this weekend. Disney’s official fan club event runs August 14 through August 16, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center, and most of the lower-cost inventory sold out months before the show floor even opened.

Fans who waited to buy tickets found a very different market than the one that greeted early buyers back in the spring. What started as a wide range of accessible options has narrowed sharply, leaving only the priciest tiers in stock for latecomers hoping to catch the main stage presentations.

How D23 Ticket Pricing Breaks Down

Disney split this year’s event into two main ticket families: the D23 Fan Pass and the D23 Ultimate Fan Pass. Each comes with a different level of access.

  • D23 Fan Pass (Afternoon Only): $49
  • D23 Fan Pass (1-Day): $99
  • D23 Fan Pass (3-Day): $297
  • D23 Ultimate Fan Pass (1-Day): starting at $99
  • D23 Ultimate Fan Pass (3-Day): starting at $297
  • D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass (3-Day, Gold Members only): starting at $1,299

The Fan Pass tier grants access only to the Anaheim Convention Center, where the show floor, exhibits, autograph sessions, and smaller panel stages operate. The Ultimate Fan Pass tier adds a seat for evening presentations at the Honda Center, where Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and other studios have unveiled their biggest news of the weekend.

Every ticket purchase also carries additional fees. Disney charges an $11.25 service fee per ticket and a $16.00 delivery fee per transaction, so buyers should factor those costs in before checking out.

Why Prices Climbed So Fast After Sales Opened

Ticket sales for D23 2026 opened in stages. D23 Gold Charter Members received first access on March 31, 2026. Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans followed on April 2, 2026, with all remaining Gold Members joining a queue that same afternoon.

Within a day of general sales opening, the lowest-priced tiers were largely gone. By early April, most 3-day Ultimate Fan Passes and a large share of 1-day options had sold out, leaving mainly higher-priced seating available for shoppers who joined the queue late.

The pattern held through the following month. By early May, the standard 3-day D23 Fan Pass at $297 had sold out completely. Standard D23 Ultimate Fan Passes, originally priced between $327 and $957 depending on seating level, were also gone. Saturday’s $99 1-day Fan Pass sold out as well, though afternoon-only $49 passes for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday remained available longer than most other tiers.

What’s Still Available for the Priciest Seats

For fans still hoping to attend the Honda Center presentations across all three days, the only realistic option in recent months has been the D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass. Floor seating in sections 104 through 109 has been listed at $2,299, while sections 101 through 103 sit at the top of the market at $2,599. Both tiers were marked as very limited even before the event began.

This top tier is exclusive to D23 Gold Members and bundles in extra perks beyond seating. New for 2026, Preferred Fan Pass holders gained access to a Random Selection Process for a limited-edition pin collection sold through the Walt Disney Company Store, featuring 15 designs limited to 1,000 pieces each and priced at $39.95 per pin.

Disney also opened a D23 2026 waitlist for fans shut out of the main sale, offering a last chance at any tickets that become available closer to the event or through cancellations.

A Packed Week Beyond the Convention Center

The D23 tickets price question extends beyond the Anaheim Convention Center itself, since Disney built an entire week of programming around the main event. A D23 Member Preview Event took place August 8 and sold out ahead of time, though D23 Members retained access to discounted admission elsewhere during the week.

On August 11, D23 hosted a free Night at the Anaheim Packing District with music, trivia, and the sixth annual World Taste tasting event, which required a separate ticket purchase. The following night, August 12, brought D23 Night at Angel Stadium, where the Los Angeles Angels hosted the Texas Rangers with themed giveaways for attendees who purchased tickets through the special team link.

August 13 featured D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, a free event open to any guest with valid park admission, including a Disney Legends Cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A. and a Stitch-themed dance party at Tomorrowland Terrace.

Honoring Disney Legends and Closing Out the Weekend

This year’s event also brings back the Disney Legends Award Ceremony, which recognizes creators and leaders who have shaped Disney’s legacy across generations. The ceremony runs alongside the Honda Center presentations that Ultimate Fan Pass holders paid a premium to attend.

Saturday, August 15, also marks the return of D23 Mousequerade, a costume celebration presented by AT&T that drew a wave of fan submissions ahead of the event. Sunday, August 16 closes out the weekend, with entry to the final day’s programming starting at 4 p.m. for ticket holders.

For fans who missed this year’s window, the steep climb in D23 tickets price from $49 to nearly $2,600 offers an early lesson for 2028, when Disney is expected to bring the fan event back to Anaheim once again: buy early, or expect to pay considerably more for a shrinking pool of seats.
